<h4>MK Bowling is the largest bowling chain in Poland. Eight Polish cities feature these facilities, bearing the distinctive logo. They offer access to professional bowling alleys, billiard tables, shuffleboard, and tasty snacks. Some also have a club area for evening parties.</h4><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="table" style="width:100%;"><table class="ck-table-resized"><colgroup><col style="width:46.22%;"><col style="width:53.78%;"></colgroup><tbody><tr><td>Such a large chain of venues can only function with a sound booking system. When we started working with MK Bowling, its employees already used this software.</td><td>Our task was to find a solution better suited to the bowling alley’s needs.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>&nbsp;</p>

MK Bowling staff were already using a booking system before BookGame was implemented. However, it needed to be fully adapted to the chain’s needs. These included:

<p>BC Oberhausen is a billiard club whose members are legends of the sport and players known throughout Europe. The Club's history began in 1974, under the name PBC Landwehr, and has continued under its current name since 1989. It is from here that stars such as Günter Geisen, Lars Kuckherm, Ramazan Dincer, Niels Feijen and Andreas Roschkowsky originated. The club has won, among others, the German Championship title 8 times or the European Championship title.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Due to its prestige, the club enjoys an ever-increasing interest from players - professionals as well as amateurs who want to learn the art of billiard under the guidance of the best. Therefore, it is with undisguised pleasure that we have implemented the Bookgame reservation system.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2><strong>What challenges did we face at BC Oberhausen in implementing BookGame?</strong></h2><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Above all, the club was confronted with too many phone bookings, which entailed hindering the work of the staff and - not infrequently - mistakes in enrollment. Therefore, it needed a simple, easily accessible and transparent system - one that would give control over customer service. <h4>Strefa Club in Łódź is a unique place on the Polish and European billiards map. It is the largest of its kind on our continent. Up to 60 pool tables await guests here! These include both regular pool tables and snooker tables.</h4><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="table" style="width:100%;"><table class="ck-table-resized"><colgroup><col style="width:54.48%;"><col style="width:45.52%;"></colgroup><tbody><tr><td>Guests can also play darts, table tennis and table football, and there is an excellent drinks bar.</td><td>Such a large venue could only do with a sound game booking system. Our team faced a significant challenge. In addition to BookGame, we also implemented a <strong>lighting control system over the pool tables</strong> here.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>&nbsp;</p>

Sixty pool tables – that’s an intimidating number to start with. It doesn’t take much imagination to realise that manually taking bookings at such a venue could cause unnecessary chaos. Strefa Club’s management was looking forward to a solution that would help eliminate the problems:

<p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="table" style="width:100%;"><table class="ck-table-resized"><colgroup><col style="width:51.14%;"><col style="width:48.86%;"></colgroup><tbody><tr><td><ul><li>endless phone calls with bookings - this was a hassle, especially at weekends when the Strefa’s occupancy is high. It was difficult for customers to even contact the club on a Saturday or Sunday, and staff wasted a considerable amount of time on this form of service;</li><li>confusion with bookings - a particular challenge was ‘bundled’ bookings for larger groups, i.e. bookings that included a pool table and a larger booth to go with it;</li></ul></td><td><ul><li>tedious adding and editing of bookings - employees did not have a system to deal with this with a few clicks.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In addition, the club needed help managing the lighting of the tables. Before implementing our solutions, a staff member had to go to the appropriate place in the club to switch on the lights in the area designated for play. He would also go there again when the group had finished playing. This took a lot of time and caused unnecessary waste of electricity.</p>

<p><strong>BookGame is used by both customers of the Strefa Club and its employees. Implemented system:</strong></p><ul><li>is available on a dedicated page on the BookGame system (the customer is directed there from the Strefa website and also from the Club’s social media);</li><li>allows online payment - the client knows the price in advance, so they can select services to suit their ability;</li><li>allows the booking of pool and snooker tables, as well as dart and ping-pong tables.</li></ul>

<h3>&nbsp;</h3><h4>With Strefa Club in mind, we have introduced an additional feature; when a customer makes an online booking, they can select a specific table with a box for a particular ‘capacity’. This ensures that the group with whom they turn up at the Strefa Club can sit comfortably in the designated seat.&nbsp;</h4><h3><br><strong>Lighting control system for pool tables</strong></h3><p><br>Strefa Club staff - as well as being able to manage bookings from the BookGame app, they can also control the lighting of the pool tables remotely. The system allows them to:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ol><li>remotely switch on the light over a specific gaming table - a way of indicating to the customer which pool table is reserved for them;</li><li>remotely switch off the lights - e.g. when the customer has run out of time.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The solution implemented has saved staff time and optimised electricity costs at the premises. This is particularly important given the significant increases in electricity prices in recent years.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3><strong>BookGame in the Strefa Club - convenience for customers and employees</strong></h3><p>Strefa Club’s management is seeing concrete and tangible results from implementing our booking in the day-to-day work of the venue. It is a modern complex that includes a music club, billiards and bowlingalley. When designing the interior, attention was paid not only to the rich access to attractions, but also to the climate and comfort of visitors. There are about 400 seats at guests' disposal, an interesting and tasty menu has been created, as well as many other attractions. Guests can use the conference room, 8-lane bowling alley, 15 professional pool tables and 2 snooker tables.

<p>Managing a facility this large is quite a challenge. We were looking for a system to help optimise our work. The collaboration with bookgame proved to be a hit! It has been designed with both pool and bowling club visitors and owners, managers and employees in mind. This solution has visibly increased the comfort of guests and the club's profits - says the club's manager..</p>

<h3><strong>Streamlining the booking process</strong></h3><p>&nbsp;</p><p>A large number of attractions translates into a lot of guest interest. The paper-based version of the booking system that was previously maintained was not only cluttered, but above all required a considerable amount of time to be spent on it. The introduction of the bookgame online booking system turned out to be a real godsend, which not only improved the work of the club, but also made the booking process much easier for our guests. Our aim was to implement a simple but functional solution. We are confident that with bookgame we have achieved this - adds the club manager.</p><p>The ease of use of the booking panel and fewer phone calls answered has increased the productivity of our staff on the bar by 70%. They can devote their time entirely to their guests so as to provide the best possible entertainment. The ability to book online has also had a visible impact on increasing the club's turnover. The number of guests in the club increased by as much as 37%. As a result, the premises achieve even better financial results.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

In addition, customers can make a quick online payment or pay by cash/card upon arrival at the club. Most people choose the former option as it is much more convenient. Having already paid for the booking, guests are reluctant to cancel it, and during the visit they are willing to purchase additional snacks, drinks or another game. This has resulted in a 24% increase in sales at the bar and an 84% reduction in cancellations - the club's manager explains.</p></td><td><h3><strong>Event organisation</strong></h3><p>Before the introduction of the booking system online it was possible to organise, in advance, only larger events - corporate events, birthday parties or other large social gatherings. Other people could easily visit the club, but they never had a guarantee that they would be able to use the free pool table or bowling alley. As a result, they often left the club quickly.<br>The situation today is completely different. By booking a visit to the club, the guest is assured that a seat will be waiting for them. Nor do they have to waste time in the queue to pay. The biggest gain we have made is predictability -says the club's manager.<br>The ease and speed of the booking process in the bookgame system has made the garage club more popular and more frequented by customers.</p></td></tr><tr><td>&nbsp;</td><td>&nbsp;</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h3>Diamond is a Krakow billiard club, considered one of the best in the city. It is situated in the center of Krakow, a few steps from the Main Market Square.</h3><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="table" style="width:99.05%;"><table class="ck-table-resized"><colgroup><col style="width:56.61%;"><col style="width:43.39%;"></colgroup><tbody><tr><td>Guests are attracted not only by the location, but also by the unique atmosphere, great drinks, and above all - as many as 16 professional pool tables with certificates awarded by the World Billiard Federations. You can play here with great sticks made of solid Canadian maple, and the playing space is perfect for both a casual outing with friends and a closed corporate event.</td><td>With as many as 16 game tables and the ever-growing interest of guests, it was difficult for the employees of Klub Diament to keep the reservations in order. The solution to this problem was the implementation of the BookGame application.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>&nbsp;</p>

The traditional reservation system, which was previously used in Klub Diament, was based on reservations made by phone and at the bar. This solution was not very functional because:

<p><strong>Its implementation was to make:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>customers will start booking tables on their own</strong> - without involving club employees in the process;</li><li>the Diament Club team will gain access to a transparent booking calendar - so that it is possible to<strong> manage them conveniently and avoid mistakes</strong> when booking;</li><li>problems with canceled and unrealized reservations<strong> will decrease;</strong></li><li>management will <strong>gain easy insight into the online booking system</strong> - so that decisions in this regard can also be made outside the Club's office.</li></ul>

The management of Klub Diament decided to cooperate with BookGame.  After a short analysis of the situation, we were sure that our application would solve all booking problems.

<h3><strong>What have we done?</strong></h3><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We have implemented the BookGame booking system for Klub Diament. Within its framework, all records are handled - those made by online customers and accepted by employees. The application is available for:</p><ol><li>customers - they can easily book one or more game tables via the Club's website;</li><li>employees - they can control the status of records, make changes to bookings or cancel them;</li><li>management - Club managers have gained permanent access to the booking system, which allows them to make short- and long-term decisions easier and analyze customer feedback with a view to further improving the quality of their service.</li></ol><h3><br><strong>Implementation of BookGame - a new quality of game booking service</strong></h3><p><br>The launch of the BookGame application translated into a number of benefits for Diamond. This has increased their productivity and job satisfaction.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h4><strong>Reducing cancellation/non-fulfillment issues</strong></h4><p>BookGame automatically reminds the customer about the reservation made via SMS. That's why it's much less likely that guests don't show up on time or cancel last-minute bookings. As a result, revenues from billiards have increased and the Club can use the full potential of the 16 tables.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h4><strong>Full control over the booking system</strong></h4><p>The booking system works online. Thanks to this, managers can log in to it, also when they are outside the Club. This makes it easy to manage from anywhere in the world.</p></td><td><h4><strong>Possibility to book several tables at the same time</strong></h4><p>BookGame gives you the option to select the number of tables you reserve. Thanks to this, the game can be planned by larger groups of guests, including business clients. As a result, tying sales may also increase - in particular at the bar.</p><h4><br><strong>Less problems with bookings</strong></h4><p>One coherent system eliminated problems with overbooking and reduced the risk that some reservations will not be saved. However, this system was inefficient and created many problems. Therefore, management decided to work with us and implement the BookGame application.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>&nbsp;</p>

The needs analysis showed that the greatest challenges and expectations of Fabryka Wełny management were related to:

In response to the Fabryka Wełny's expectations, we implemented the BookGame app. It is used to handle all bowling bookings - both those made by customers themselves and those taken by staff by telephone and in person.

<h3><strong>What did we do?</strong></h3><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The BookGame system is available directly on the <a href="https://www.fabrykawelny.pl/rekreacja/kregielnia">Fabryka Wełny Hotel website - a link to it is provided from the tab</a>.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p>In the system, the customer can independently:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ol><li>select the lane they want to play on,</li><li>match the date of the game and its duration (the minimum playing time is 60 minutes; records are kept with an accuracy of 30 minutes);</li><li>pay for the bowling online.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The system is also used by hotel staff and management. The app gives them the ability to easily manage bookings and access analytical data.</p>

It is accessible via a web browser. It can be used both on a computer and a mobile phone. The club links to the BookGame app on its <a href="https://www.facebook.com/bilardkielce/">social media</a>, among others. The system allows the client to:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ol><li>selecting the play table;</li><li>determination of the playing time (min. 60 minutes, thereafter billing every 30 minutes);</li><li>quickly finding a free table on the day needed;</li><li>online payment for the game - as part of a secure online payment system.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Club employees and management can track reservations on an ongoing basis, edit them (e.g. add new ones when the client reports via another channel), and manage the premises' operation according to occupancy.</p>
